The objective of the project is to create a minimal contemporary design that represents the Modern Dubai vision and the Islamic identity based on the rich heritage, culture and context; the design tried to contemplate the fundamental elements of the mosque architecture and to reinterpret them in a simple form, allowing the worshipers to focus on the spiritual experience away from the over-designed spaces.
